Student Counseling Service<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Counselling Service at Gimnazija Be\u017eigrad is a place of support, trust, and cooperation. It is available to students, parents, and teachers who, at different stages, may face questions, challenges, or decisions for which they need additional support, guidance, or simply someone to talk to. <\/p>

Our work covers several important areas:<\/p>

\u2022 Support for students<\/strong> experiencing learning difficulties, including help with organising their studies, motivation, and developing effective learning strategies.<\/p>

\u2022 Psychosocial support <\/strong>for personal difficulties, interpersonal relationships, stress, anxiety, and other challenges associated with adolescence.<\/p>

\u2022 Educational and career guidance<\/strong>, including support in choosing further studies and future career paths.<\/p>

\u2022 Support for parents<\/strong>, providing counselling, guidance, and cooperation on educational and developmental matters.<\/p>

\u2022 Cooperation with teachers<\/strong> in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.<\/p>

\u2022 Support for students with special educational needs<\/strong>, including coordinating adjustments to the educational process according to their individual needs.<\/p>

\u2022 Preventive activities<\/strong>, such as workshops and lectures on important topics (e.g. mental health, relationships, learning, and addiction).<\/p>

\u2022 Enrolment of first-year students<\/strong>, where the Counselling Service provides students and parents with information about our school, admission requirements, and the application and selection process, as well as managing the enrolment procedure. We also support students in their transition from primary to secondary school. <\/p>

We recognise that secondary school is a time of significant change, important decisions, personal development, and sometimes uncertainty. We therefore strive to create a safe and supportive environment where every individual feels heard, accepted, and supported. <\/p>

We encourage students to contact us whenever they need someone to talk to, assistance, or guidance \u2013 there is no need to wait until a problem becomes serious. We are also available to parents who wish to work with us in supporting their children. <\/p>

The door of the Counselling Service is always open, so that together we can find the best way forward.<\/p>
